After Japan Earthquake: Nikkei Has Potential Break Low Up To 25 % in Six Month Later

The toll of the earthquake continues to rise in Japan . Official death toll numbers were about 2,000, although local news media NHK reported that the number could be as much as 10,000. Meanwhile, the Japanese government is rushing to avert a nuclear crisis some power plants were also affected the earthquake.

Major companies such as Sony, Canon, Suzuki, Toyota , Nippon Steel have all reported disrupted or halted operations in their respective production facilities in Japan .

Relooking at the past, the Nikkei plunged 6% following the Kobe Earthquake. It then made a technical rebound, before sinking another 25% in the following six months.
